Sharing insights from a recent webAIRS case study, Dr Clayton Lam joins the podcast for a kōrero on the impacts an increased use of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and off-label GLP-1 agonists is having on perioperative anaesthesia care, as reported to webAIRS.
The case series of incidents reported to webAIRS relating to GLP-1 agonist use written by Dr Clayton Lam, Dr D-Yin Lin, and ANZTADC Director Dr Yasmin Endlich has recently been accepted for publication in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.
